Some might need to rewatch the game, but nitpicking every throw is insane. Hurts made 3 good deep ball throws, you hope you catch at least 1 or 2 of those. But A&M smartly took the PI on both, but only got called on one. Nobody mentioning the great play for the third touchdown, when Jalen had time to make his reads and then throws the TD pass to Ruggs. Last note is that the narrative that teams load the box against us is false. Most of the pressure occurred up the middle against Bozeman and Cotton. While A&M did bring 5 most of it was safeties coming from the edge. Watts was making plays on the perimeter, he is one of their top players for a reason. Yes Jalen ran into a few sacks running from a clean pocket into contain, but I take that over forcing a ball and turning it over. We tried a couple of screens but they are hard to execute when the other team is playing contain on the outside. TL;DR expect similar execution in tight games even if Tua is the QB. This is coaching, we play conservative on offense to avoid turnovers on purpose.

Excellent, non-agenda driven insight. But I'm going to need a "Hurts for Heisman" or "Hurts for the Bench" slant next time to really get the hot takes flowing. Thanks.
