Nah it’s kind of the opposite. Fournette was trying to play hurt all year and finally called it quits when it truly didn’t matter anymore. The most criticizable move of his was insisting on playing the UF game because of the pregame scuffle, and even there it’s Orgeron’s fault for caving. Fournette was clearly hurt and ineffective that game.

Guice’s interviews before the season were all about getting to the league to help his family out, and now it seems apparent that he’s mailed it in. Unfortunate to see from a guy in a leadership position; a good insurance policy would surely have been a better move than sparse and completely pedestrian junior film.
