AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn center Austin Wiley missed Monday's practice with a lower left leg injury. Wiley suffered the injury in a player's only practice Saturday afternoon.

Wiley attended the team's second preseason practice, but wore a boot on his leg. The sophomore did some shooting around and helped his teammates during drills.

A team spokesperson said there is no timetable for his return with the center set to get treatment this week. The injury is on the same leg he injured over the summer (stress fracture) playing on the USA U19 World Cup team, but the injury is "lower down" on his leg, according to the official.

From Mark Murphy: Austin Wiley has a boot on his left leg. The sophomore center suffered an injury in a weekend practice, but the word I got is that it is not believed to be a serious, long-term problem.

Are we sure that boot isn't an FBI ankle monitoring bracelet?
