If they spotted up 20 after the first, what would the final be?

Need to run 85+ offensive plays somehow. No huddle, very rarely substitute. Keep Bama D personnel on the field as much as physically possible.

Run the no huddle continuously in a hurry up style very very well. Spread em out and make them play chase. We need first downs and time of possession on our side.

I don't see much hope of this, but that's not a slam on the Aggies. This may be the best Bama team since the move.

One thing I'd really like to see: get rid of the mass substitutions on the OL. Or if you just HAVE to play the new guys, put 'em in 1 or 2 at a time. NOT FOUR. That is the one thing about our O that makes me nuts.

But that likely won't help. If Bama has a weakness I haven't seen it.

Won’t help the score, but I am emailing Saban tomorrow to see if we can let Mond play in a red jersey.

Run the clock, and gotta force turnovers.

Punt the hell out of the ball.

Solid tackling.

Go for some Homerun plays occasionally

Edit: I say this knowing full well that Mazzone doesn't do these things regularly. If we play like they know our playbook again, it's 59-0 again

I ain't skeered...but I'm not on Kyle Field, either. Kind of like fights in HS - get one or two punches in then take your arse beating.

Here is our shot.

Stack the MF box. 8 in the box on early likely running play. They only pass the ball 23 times a game. Hurd is talented, but we make him beat us with his arm. He has accuracy issues. Maybe some pressure up the middle (Keke, Z, and Mack) could throw him off a little.

Hit big plays. We lead the conference in plays 60+, 70+, & 80+. We're 2nd in 10+ & 50+. We have to find a way to hit chunk plays. The horizontal pass game isn't going to work. We have to take shots down the field.

Force turnovers. Bama is elite at protecting the ball. IDK if they're due or what, but we have to find a way to turn them over. Watts and co need to take calculated chances going after the ball if we can force Bama to throw it some.

Bend, but don't break. Their kicker has been worse than ours. Maybe we can catch a break with a miss FG after giving up a long drive.

Finally, 12th man, bring it like the 4th quarter of the USC game. The players feed off of it. We get 22 guys who believe they can hang with Bama then we just may.
