Fired their winningest head coach with a natty to his name. Now they got O who is going to be the dooley 2.0. Sorry LSU y'all will have to endure purgatory for a decade.

Still remains to be seen, but I fear the answer’s “yes”

ETA: Although Louisiana is MUCH more talent rich than Tennessee. Tennessee needs to really pull recruits to Knoxville. So I don’t ever think it’ll be as bad. But similar.

Orgeron at least won't leave us in shambles like Dooley did with recruiting.

Um NOPE!!!

Yes O was a bad hire, AD's fault

Talent still top of the line.

2017 Season, complete shite.

Fire Coach O and AD Alleva

2018 Top 2 finish in conference

2019 Possible NCG title

ONLY IF THEY REORGANIZE THE TOP OFFICE AND COACHING STAFF>

IF NOT, we will be KENTUCKY of the West.

No, Louisiana has a ton of in state talent which will always keep them relevant. Tennessee used to be able to raid other states and their in state talent can be lacking. The days of Tennessee being a top program are done.

Would be ironic. UT fired Fulmer and hired a staff including Coach O.

LSU fires Miles and hires Coach O.

That being said...UT swapped places with LSU in the Championship game in '01. It was the SEC version of Freaky Friday. Now we just need someone to find out how to reverse the spell/hex.

Les needed to be fired. It's a consensus thing with LSU fans. He had lost the locker room and they weren't competing.

Hiring O had a certain desperate logic to it factoring that we would pay top dollar for OC and DC, once you acknowledge that our AD botched the hiring search like the clown he is. O could well be Dooley 2.0. Time will tell. It looks scary bad from where I sit.

LSU has recruiting advantages Tenn can't sniff. LSU may stay at the 8/9 win level. But they won't be Tenn. That's a special kind of misery.
