No. Saturday showed that *when* a defense stacks the box we will make them pay with a vertical passing game.
Essentially Foo is correct, we need both. It's called a balanced offense.
We didn't have an effective passing game last year so defenses stacked the box and shut our run game down.

You are correct in that a running game will open play - action, but we can't run the ball effectively without a passing threat.
