Hell, if UGA keeps improving throughout the season, they won't even beat us in the SECG without one. Our defense is fast, physical, disciplined and we tackle extremely well. Bama's backs and their "dual threat" QB who can only run the ball won't be enough against us. Jalen Hurts is the most overrated player in the SEC. And if they somehow do beat us and make it back to the CFP, they're not going to win it. A true duel threat like Baker Mayfield will carve them up just like Deshaun Watson did. They lost with Sims and Hurts because they lacked a downfield passing attack. At least with Coker you could count on him completing a pass over 20 yards every now and then.

We actually have won 4 championships recently without much of a passing game.

The 2 years Bama threw the ball all over the field in 2013 and 2014 they were awful on defense and had poor offensive lines. If Bama is throwing a lot it's because they are deficient in other areas and are trying to compensate.

If Bama doesn't win it all this year it will mostly be because their 2 best pass rushers in Chistian Miller and Terrell Hall/Lewis were both lost for the season in game 1.

Jalen Hurts still has a lot of improving to do, but Bama is 18-1 when he takes the majority of the snaps. In the 1 loss he scored a go ahead td with 2mins left.
