He's starting to irritate me less and less these days. In the offseason I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt for a few reasons:
-True freshman QB
-Brand new system/team/staff
-Pathetic Oline
-Mediocre WR play
I mean, you can be an excellent OC but still look bad with all of the above. This year, we yet again have a TFr QB but the other 3 items are pretty much erased. The ONLY small qualm I have is not using Nauta more, but overall I can't really complain. It's amazing how much better an OC looks when the line actually blocks and the WRs actually catch.

And the only reason we haven't been using Nauta is because he wasn't giving 100% in practice. I'm assuming Smart lit a fire under his arse because he played a lot last night.
