We should be excited about Tua in a different way

I know it's Vanderbilt, but don't be talking about that Tua > Hurts bullshite. Hurts is the personification of a cool customer. Not sure which one, but either Danielson or Nessler said he "walks on air."

Denying that he is a running back with an arm is quite frankly just ignorance at this point BUT...that is by no means a bad thing. Even amidst, hypothetically, a bad passing performance in a given game, he is still a hell of a threat on the ground.

But THAT is exactly why we should be excited about Tua.

I legit believe that Alabama is in possession of the best backup at QB in the country and it is NOT close. Like I said before, it's Vanderbilt, but the dude has a flat out legendary deep ball with great timing for a freshman and just a QB in general. We should be excited because there will be no drop off should Jalen get hurt. He has plenty of game experience, albeit not in the most dire of circumstances, but he has by no means not gotten his feet wet and acclimated to basic college game atmosphere.

Don't look ahead to Jalen's departure. Be thrilled to have him. I'm not saying I'm not guilty of throwing him under the bus multiple times, but I mean damn, he's won multiple games on his legs alone. He rarely gets rattled if at all; doesn't show it if he does.

Thank goodness for both of them and ROLL TIDE!
