I don't see Hurts going to the NFL next season. Tua is going to have to take the job if he wants to play before his final year.

If Hurts stays four years Tua IMO will take the job from him and Hurts will be the backup. I like Hurts but I do not see him holding off Tua for 3 years.

If he thinks he can make a roster, and never said 1st round, I think he goes after his junior year. He would be foolish not to because as I said earlier I have not sure how high his ceiling is and doubt a 4th year would help him.

Of course he won't declare as a junior. He is electric on the ground but not even close to NFL passing the ball. He is our guy and we hope he is successful when he leaves Bama with 4 rings etc but the NFL just isn't likely in his future.

With that said, I don't care about that whatsoever. He is a hell of a college football player and he is a winner. We care much more about what he accomplishes in college. That is how I measure our former players. Amari over Julio because he was the more productive college player.
