Here's why I wouldn't rule out CLemson or USC for Zion.

Ben Simmons went to LSU
Fultz to Washington.

When you're one star around a lot of mediocre to subpar talent, makes your stock look even better.

Didn't Shaq admit on national TV that he was bought and paid for at this school. That didn't surprise me at all. I can't imagine that Fultz got paid nothing to go to Washington either.

Also, both of these guys were the first 2 ever to play college ball for a team that didn't make the tournament and get picked #1 overall.

Except for the fact that being the only star around a lot of mediocre talent and less-than mediocre coaching, Simmons didn't play in the postseason with LSU, and it was argued by many that his experience at LSU HURT - not helped - his draft status. Simmons has later been interviewed stating that his time at LSU was a waste of time for him. IMO Simmons' example at LSU would not be good for Zion....

It wouldn't surprise me if Zion chose to go to Clemson. Apparently his step father, or uncle once removed went to Clemson, and that's all it takes. Then there are USC legacies who wouldn't touch USC with a 20-foot pole, it seems like these days.....
