he has a big decision to make after the season.....if it were me, i would stay for the mentioned reasons, but coaches have egos and he may have to try it elsewhere,ala spurrier and shorty when they went pipedreaming to the NFL

The only likely opening it makes sense for him to jump to is Notre Dame.

Anyone who jumps to a clear top 5-10 program will have a soft landing spot if it doesn't work out. Even if he failed at Notre Dame, Miss St job probably will be open and welcome him back

This is the TRUTH!

HE goes 8-5 at State fans love him but if he does that at Tennessee, Florida, or A&M fans want him gone.

He's in a great place making $4.25 Mil in a city where that money goes a lot further than it would in Knoxville or Gainesville in terms of cost of living and home value.

Wth is with all this Mullen talk. We're three games into the season. He's never accomplished anything as a head coach. He beat a shitty LSU team.

What is hell is going on?
