SEC teams have all the talent in the world and a helluva lot more than than other conferences. What they lack, IMHO, is great head coaches that can utilize that talent.

While I don't like agreeing with a Buckeye, I agree with this one.

The SEC has lost good coaches, and in the arms race, most schools are using the extra money to pay buyouts.

Coaches also spend time chasing stars and catering to the prima donna athlete instead of getting the folks that work hard and are willing to work -- look at the highly ranked recruits from the state of Texas as an example. Their is a huge disconnect between their incoming potential and their final output (as collegiates).
