The officiating in the LSU MSU game was a joke. LSU did't play well enough to win but the terrible officiating made it much worse than it should have been.

Over all, I think our conference has the worst officials.

You're right. LSU held Jeffrey Simmons every play.

Some of the calls were fine, but they had 3-4 in big moments that made you scratch your head and wonder for sure. MSU wins regardless, but I do agree that it would have been a much better game without a few of those penalties.

He's a bammer. Pretty sure Alabama is undefeated under Owens since Saban took over. Last I checked, we were like 14-0 under him.

They're easily the worst crew in the conference.

The only call that was close was the pick play at the beginning. Before even seeing the replay, I was telling people around us that it was a pick play. It was the only way #7 would have been that wide open.
Now after seeing the actual execution of the play, it was questionable either way. The WR did make contact with the DB. Had they not called it, I would have been ok with it. Judgement call either way. Usually LSU gets those.

I remember back in the early 70's State-LSU were playing in BR and the game was close in the 4th quarter, State was driving deep in Tiger territory and we only got 3 plays instead of 4 (guess the ref was from Canada). LSU eventually won the game. Stuff happens and it is up to the players to overcome a perceived missed/blown call whether it was right or wrong.
