Have you noticed your defense better or worse when in the nickel?

It really depends. State's safety core is really good with Abrams (Georgia fans should remember him), Bryant, and McLaurin. They all tackle well in space and support the run well.

The biggest concern with this team coming into the year was corner, but they have played very well thus far.

State played a lot more nickel against Louisiana Tech (spread team) and went to it on passing downs against LSU. Linebacker play and safety play are extremely underrated with this defense, and the defensive line is a collection of beasts. It's gonna be tough for Georgia to run the ball, but they can have some success through the air if they can keep the pocket clean and your freshman QB can handle his progressions. State is going to take some things away on defense.

Our OL goes hot and cold. I expect troubles with a clean pocket. I expect troubles running the football. But then I expect us seeing success as well (mostly on the ability of Chubb/Swift /Sony).

I have faith in our defense. I don't have faith in our offense to outscore you. We will need home field advantage, defensive turnovers, and strong special teams to help for the W.
