I honestly thought with Minkah, Averett, Harrison, and Hootie coming back, we'd have a better secondary. Maybe it goes hand-in-hand with the fact that the d-line hasn't been generating as much rush, but it's frustrating to me when teams are in 3rd-and-long, and there's a receiver wide arse open. If anything, I'd like to know what the damn route is so maybe our receivers can run it.

Good news that does come out from this though:

"We've got a lot of work to do. We've got to get back to the drawing board because that was just pathetic. We were just on the field entirely too long. We've got to get back and work hard because we're fixing to get into SEC play. We're going to have a come-to-Jesus meeting on Monday."

-Shaun Dion Hamilton after CSU. 'Bout to tear into their asses and put the fear of god back into them.

I think you nailed half or more of the problem. We are depleted on the edge rushers right now.
