All of his press conferences have been sad as shite since Michigan.
He doesn't even crack a smile or anything and just has this very sad voice in his press conferences.
Michigan broke him. The Florida job is just too big for him. And he shouldn't have fricked that shark.
Goodbye season.

Wow what a fresh take. If only there was already a thread saying the exact same thing.

When you spend the entire offseason fighting for the rights of man-shark love, only to have the happiest moment of your life with the shark of your choice laughed at and made fun of by all of America, and then, just when you start to get over that, Michigan embarrasses you again on national TV. Who can blame him? Leave him to his sharks.

Maybe it's not the Michigan loss. Maybe it's knowing that half his team is gone because of a credit card scandal?

Fire him if he acts like that in any future press conference again. That was a fricking disgrace to UF. What a jackass

We better pound the ever living shite out of Florida this Saturday.

McElwain will still get a statute for winning yall's Super Bowl vs LSU last year

I listened to his PC today and he does sound like he has given up. Several reporters asked him about his somber mood, asked whether it was due to the hurricane or to the Michigan loss. He gave some canned answer in a monotone.
I have never heard a HC act that way. They usually exude confidence and control no matter how bad things are. I've never heard anything like that before from a coach.
If I were a Florida commit for 2018, I would promptly decommit and take my four or five star talent to Tuscaloosa.

Offense looked better this past weekend. 3 less points but 3 less turnovers as well.

He's playing possum right now, Vols are walking into a buzzsaw

I kinda feel bad for him. A Will Grier led UF team would be pretty damn good. But Grier felt like being a moron.
Then 12 players this year do the same thing. The OL Muschamp left him plus UF players being complete retards has made it damn near impossible for him to even have a chance.
I don't know if he's a good HC, but he doesn't really have a chance at UF. The culture there is a joke.

Obviously sucks for you guys, but Michigan was no slouch. THings will pick up and at least get back to a respectable level.
We were in your shoes last year lest we forget

He looked like a zombie in his press conference. Like he knew the season was over

He quit smiling when he finally heard the news about his teeth.

I already posted this, but since it's here I'll say it again:
Dude probably didn't want to have a press conference on Wednesday, when the team couldn't practice all week because the state was hit by a major hurricane, flooding all over with a lot of players scattered all over the place.
He had no electricity for a few days, has a game in three days and has to figure out what in the frick he's going to do against a major competitor in the East.
The last thing he probably wants to do is go out there and field a bunch of bullshite questions that he already talked about for thirty minutes.
Gator fans gave up on the program, McElwain I have no idea.
