Nobody gets excited about filming Gameday in a 40k capacity stadium.

Do you even College Game Day bro?

2016 Buffalo @ Western Michigan drew roughly 26,000
2015 Richmond @ Jams Madison drew roughly 26,000
2014 Yale @ Harvard drew roughly 31,000
2014 Incarnate Word @ North Dakota State drew roughly 19,000
2103 Delaware State @ North Dakota State drew roughly 19,000

To put that in perspective, in 2013 Missouri won the SEC east and College Game Day would rather go to South Dakota for a football weekend than Columbia, Missouri.

Apparently I don't College Game Day because I didn't watch any of those. I'd venture to guess, just going by the ones you gave me here, that College Game Day picked these particular match-ups for different reasons than they choose major conference match-ups, though. If one of them had been, say, NC State at Wake, I'd be a bit more sanguine about this line of evidence.
