I would lean towards both.

Its one thing to sit up in the Big Ten and crow about how overrated you think the SEC is and how you think your North league is tough too. Its another to be smack dab in the middle of the SEC West and your only light weeks are playing OOC TCU, FAMU's of the world.

I think thats why Patterson has never left TCU and why Meyer took the OSU job and why Franklin left Vandy for Penn State. Its harder than people realize, and you don't actually realize it until you're right in the thick of the SEC schedule.
