Brian Kelly may not have INTENDED for the kid to die, but it was his decision to practice outside on that day despite NWS warnings that the winds would be at unsafe levels. Was called the worst windstorm in 70 years in the Midwest. The scissor lifts were only rated for 28 mph winds, and the winds that day were consistently in the 30's, gusting to over 50 mph.
As previously stated, Kelly didn't even stop practice when it happened. The university and Kelly both took the stance that they had no responsibility in the situation, but the university was found to be responsible for the kids death.
So NO, Kelly and the university didn't INTEND for the young man to die, but they directly impacted the situation with their decisions that day.

Thank you!
Brian Kelly is human!
Do you remember what happens when members of the elite media make negligent mistakes?
