Simply put, country music isn't big city music and when you have people making "country" music in the big cities it turns to shite. People making country music need to be living the country life not some city slicker with an accent.

definitely not a good turn in the evolution, and a part of why we are where we are today. Seriously cant understand how a guy from australia is a southern US "country music" star. Baffles me how crappy mainstream is.
