Awesome hire with Brewster guys. Can recruit anywhere, but especially in Texas.
I’m sure Horn fans are going to be pissed for years to come when he convinced recruits to end up in College Station instead of Austin.
Don’t know much about the OC hire other than Memphis puts up points. And you left Coley with us

Looch said Coley accepted the job. I don't know if he went back to Georgia and got cold feet or for some crazy reason Jimbo pulled the offer. The latter sounds far-fetched, but I bet we'll never get the full story.

He's staying in Athens unless he gets a head coaching gig IMO. Not sure how much of it is him, vs. Kirby, but he's been awesome and from what I've seen he gets along really well with the kids.

Ok so now BL is saying its not Grich or Tucker, but has strong SEC ties, or to Fisher, and may coach in playoff/bowl. Color me stumped.

I didn't know the Citadel's DC was so well respected!

Bud Foster was supposed to be a done deal before Chief called last time right? Maybe we circled back around to grab him.
I really doubt it's Veneables. He has a really good thing going at Clemson. I guess if you threw HC money (~$3 mil) it's possible but dear lord that would be much more absurd than $7.5 mil for Jimbo.

Yep. They were all laughing at ketchum for being really wrong on tu’s AD hire, but Liucci was all over Coley being the OC and then we ended up with the Memphis guy. Being that it’s a new regime, I don’t think any A&M site has a big “in” with the program yet.
I think jimbo’s hires have been really solid, especially the position assistants, but so far Liucci’s prediction about: homerun, splash hires for coordinators hasnt been exactly true.
