Correct, should have quoted this one instead:
quote:

And for the life of me I can't figure out the Bermuda Triangle that is Austin, Texas when it comes to football players. It's where highly touted Texas High School Football players vanish into thin air. The list of ghosts is a mile long. Player after player after player that nearly any school in the country would be happy to have comes to Austin just completely sucks $#@! through a straw once they get on campus. We saw NFL scouts lament this throughout Mack's tenure. And it's been around even longer than that. Players come to Austin and then they just transform into toads.

You should see the incredible list of future ghosts that Tom's got lined up for 2018. #2 class in the country and the vast majority of them will be the future do nothings at Texas. Great talents that just simply vanish into thin air. They forgot how to tackle, block, cover, catch and throw; they come to Austin so full of promise then cross the boundary of the Triangle and their football amnesia sets in and they just vanish.

You could argue that it's entitlement and $10K lockers but players at virtually every FBS school are pampered just like the ones at Texas. They all have shiny new locker rooms and massage therapist and whirlpools and state of the art training facilities. So I'm not sure the "spoiled" factor fits. I have no idea what it is honestly. All I know is that it exists. I can't explain the Bremuda Football Triangle, I just know when players go there, they're never seen again.
