Nvm, drunk and deleted my post by accident,
Tl:Dr Fromm woke the O up and Eason didn't look better from last year in the short time he played.

Eason is still a billion times better than Ramsey. I do not feel comfortable at all with #12 on the QB depth chart.

Eason looks hesitant and timid. He also has trouble completing 10 yard passes due to his inaccuracy. I hope he's completely healthy, but he's got a lot to prove. Fromm has proven more in one game than Eason has proven in a season plus. I finally have to admit that, and I've defended Eason.

I agree (in regards to Ramsey)
He was 100% in completions though. Just sucks that 2 of the 3 were to the wrong team.

Eason's psyche will be crushed by this personal nightmare scenario. One that he's probably secretly and naturally feared.
It'll either sink him for good or propel him to Greatness.
Nothing left to do but sit back and watch.

Eason has a mild knee sprain

Severe psyche strain though. Could be terminal.

What I want to know is what happened to that kid we saw throwing dimes and completing the most idiotic looking passes as a senior in high school? I thought that kid had greatness all over him. I certainly did not think he would have trouble completing the easiest passes.

Is it possible to sprain the brain?

My bet is he is already assessing his transfer options.

Look where he played high school...

Easiest muscle to sprain. And hardest to heal.

Who cares? You still have to complete passes and accuracy was never a problem with him until he got to UGA.

Being The Anointed Messiah can't be easy for a kid, either. The expectations for him were astronomical.

He's shown potential and thrown some strikes. But he doesn't look comfortable at all like Fromm did

No shite. He isn't playing against a bunch of slow white guys anymore.

The only answer has to be that he looked good against some truly inferior high school talent which is historically true of Washington State high school football compared to Georgia high school football. Had the speed and atheleticism been comparable I think he over throws, under throws, is inaccurate or holds the ball too long in high school also. As it was he was decent in HS against some pretty bad defenses......

It makes a world of difference.......especially with accuracy.....speed and the ability to close the gap by defensive backs makes it necessary to make split second decisions and pinpoint throws.......something a 5 star QB from Georgia was most likely doing as a sophomore. I'd be curious to know how many picks he threw early on in practice......if it was an inordinate amount and then the accuracy went south there's the answer.

You might be on to something ... I recall in the Army All American Game he didn't look very good, and meanwhile Shea Patterson look pretty damn good.
