LSU has gone 8-9-8 in wins the last three years so that's the "usual". Auburn has gone 8-7-8 in that same time frame, but is the "best overall" team in the SEC.
It's not really difficult to see who's alter this is.

2 wins cancelled. Easy wins sure but every sec team gets those rent a wins. Take those easy ones away from every sec team the last 2 years and Lsu is still there in top 3 pretty much
