You will miss miles as your head coach, helping your program have success...do you really have that much faith in Ed Orgeron??? Not trolling

Do you really have that much faith in Kirby? If so, you're gonna be shocked

It's not that all of us have faith in O, it's just that we were tired of being "just good". Fans wanted to go into a new direction so we are excited for a change. We were tired of 9 win seasons and not getting over the hump.

I've seen many LSU fans say "at least we don't have Les anymore". Do LSU fans really have that much confidence in O, or is it just they don't have Les anymore?

Can an LSU fan tell me why they think O is a better coach than Les?

Is the 2007 beside your name the year you were born? God I swear sometimes we need a board for the handicap. I'm not sure if you think some stuff is funny before you post, but it isn't. All you do is flame and it gets old. Stop trying so hard. Shite

thomasbrown really is the Geraldo Rivera of tRant.

On a razors edge and always willing to ask the tough questions.

I, for one, can't wait for his expose where he reveals Saban's darkest secrets and the side of the conference that the SEC doesn't want you to see.

O could lose to BYU and I still wouldn't miss Miles

O may have been the wrong hire, but Miles needed to be fired

yall do realize he has had roughly 0 big offers since he was let go, right?

Not being predictable will be fun, only time will tell about coach O.

I won't. Miles was one stubborn coach who failed to acknowledge that anything was wrong with the offense. If there is one thing I am liking about Coach O is that he is not stubborn like Miles was, he can acknowledge what the problem is and will do what it takes to fix it. It remains to be seen how effective he is though.

Miles has done great things at LSU, but his stubbornness was a huge problem.

I miss Miles, and appreciate all he did. I also support O and have faith in him.

Not mutually exclusive.

Miles wont be missed regardless of where Coach O takes us, fact is we were in a stalemate, similar to Richt at UGA, you should understand that.

He's got a great setup here and is 12-4 his last 2 head coaching interim stints, so he has the ability to win with guys like Aranda, Canada and the talent we have. I could honestly care less what happened a decade ago in a major rebuild at Ole Miss.

I won't miss Les one bit but I was pretty damn disappointed when Alleva hired O. I would still take O over Miles right now though if I had the choice. I can't take an offense consisting of run, run, then throwing a sideline bomb not one more year. Les made LSU football damn near miserable to watch the last few years.

As an LSU fan I will miss Les Miles because he is a good person, he always says something quirky, he DGAF what people think of him.

As the coach of LSU I miss Les when he was Lesticles and the Mad Hatter. The Periloux, Hatch, Lee year ruined him. Our offense became so predictable.

With coach O I have hope that we may become a great team. He is not affraid to move the ball. Hopefully he will be successful, but if not at least we tried a new approach.
