My point was I think Coach O's classes will translate into a .500 record against Alabama once he establishes his own talent. One thing to have a top 10 class, it's another thing to have Bama like talent and depth.

Should've stopped right there. All things being equal from a talent standpoint, 0 will not be a .500 coach head to head with Saban.

We didn't have the depth Alabama had, in large part, because every LSU guy declares as soon as he can, and that caught up with the program. That, and the desire to have a dual threat QB instead of just going with competent pocket guys.
