DL, particularly DE is talented but thin. It's another big question mark along with QB.
DE rotation will rely heavily on these 3: Jonathan Kobgbo, Darrell Taylor, and Kyle Phillips. FR DeAndre Johnson likely #4 with much smaller role.
DT rotation: Vickers, McKenzie, Tuttle, A. Johnson, Q. Picou, P Bain + Kongbo sliding in situationally. Possibly 2 freshman sparingly if not receiving a RS.
When healthy, the DT depth is 6 guys deep. 7 w/ Kongbo sliding in on passing downs. DE rotation is only at 3-4. Big positive is that almost the entire DL is JR/SR upperclassmen and physically ready. Kongbo w/ a very similar build to M. Garrett. Legit 6'6 265. It will be critical for DE's to stay healthy or we are in trouble. A lot of our highest rated guys on the line have unfortunately had some of the most injuries. Tuttle, McKenzie, and Phillips were all borderline or outright 5* DT/DT/DE composites. All 3 for one reason or another have had season ending injuries every year or just about every yearthey've been on campus outside of McKenzies FR year and possibly Phillips. It's fair to say they haven't lived up to their ranking at this point, but it's also fair to admit the injuries have decimated a combined 4-5 seasons between the 3 and all 3 haven't had a chance to edge out a name for themselves. McKenzie and Tuttle were playing their best football of their careers last season prior to the injuries. The talent is there, but they need a big year.
DE: D. Taylor
DT: K. Vickers
DT: K. McKenzie
DE: J. Kobgbo
Tuttle fights for starting time once his knee is back to 100%. That's likely not until after the Georgia Tech game.

Definitely coach speak. From what I've seen on tape, the offense has a chance to be surprisingly good. Ton of young talent at WR and RB. Dormady is fantastic with ball placement. If he can perform under pressure, the offense will be good. It will be different though and that's likely what he's talking about.

I hope Tuttle gets healthy for the rest of his college time. Hated to see him injured by Kublanow's block in 2015, but unlike most of your fan base and some of your writers, I don't think he was intentionally trying to cause injury. He started out trying to hold Tuttle, and when he lost his grip on the jersey he took a dive from a bad position. Just a kid trying to make a play, like thousands of others who make split second bad decisions every season.

Maybe, maybe not. DL is a pretty big question mark for UT also, IMO. Can you stay healthy for a full season
can they stay healthy the first fricking game is the question. They are playing Georgia Tech.

That's the exact reason Tuttle will be sitting out the opener.

Funny, this article is about THIS year. Your non-sequater argument is the exact same shite that Butch pulls out of his arse when he is trying to come up for an excuse why Tennessee is now a permanent mid power in the East and will not be relevant as long as he is coach.
We put 35 unanswered points on the Gatahs last year. That isn't a non sequitur.

Triple-reverse psychology. He is trying to dampen expectations. Dobbs and Kamara leaving, losing Barnette, dude, they honestly might not win 7 games.

How did "Cut below" wind up on one of your tickets last year?

JG is but Dormady, the guy who's in the lead, is more pro-style with some mobility. On par with Baker Mayfield.
