How do a mother and son get sequential tags unless they're in the witness relocation program or their identities are set up by handlers for some other purpose.

Or did mom buy a Hyundai and Junior bought a Dodge at the exact same time and apply for tags at the exact same time. And get receive their tags at the exact same time.
