Pollack.

Spears isn't the best but he's genuine.

McElroy is the next Herbstreit

McElroy - national champion
Spears - national champion
Pollack - conference champion & nutjob

Pollack will always try hard to succeed, but will always come up short.

They are all tryhards, it's their job. Pollock is by far the worst out of all of them though.

McElroy is pretty good on TV. Spears is OK. Pollack sucks.

I think they're all pretty good.

McElroy probably has the biggest future and looks like ESPN is grooming him to be the next Herbstreit. He has his own Sirius/XM show, and he and Spears were just given their own show on SECN. He has a good balance of the technical analysis and opinion, like Herbstreit. And like Herbstreit, you may not always agree with him. He was given big games on ABC to call...namely OU vs. Houston last year.

Spears is a likable personality and he brings an interesting opinion.

Pollack honestly is not bad. But he's quickly being overtaken by the new guys. I can see his fratty personality wearing on people over time.

McElroy and Spears are the future of ESPN with Rece being the face of it all. ESPN just gave Rece a fat contract last year and the premier hosting gig in CFB because he was being wooed by CBS to replace Verne.

That's right, two Bama alums and an LSU alum are the future of CFB on tv...two of them Saban guys.

Pollock and Booger are awful and I have no idea how they have been elevated to where they are. Neither of them seem to do all that much research and spout of cliche garbage most of the time. Pollock in particular don't know his CFB history for shite. The dude is constantly getting easy things wrong.

Easily McElroy. I've been saying it since he debuted. It's painfully obvious how hard he tries to "sound like a reporter" and he just comes off like a huge pompous douche.

MC is legitimately good at the job.

Pollack I am not a big fan of, same with Jesse Palmer. Spears is okay with me

Never understood the hate for Pollack. He knows his stuff, he's enthusiastic about college football and voices an opinion without venturing into ESPN Hot Take zone. Does he come across as the college football equivalent of Joey from Friends at times? Yeah. So what?

Booger in a landslide. Hope he's never on anything other than ABC ever again. I never watch any ABC pregame or halftime so i'm good.

I don't really mind any of them.

ETA: I also concur with the Booger sentiment in this thread. Caint stand 'em.

McElroy has progressively gotten better at his job since the beginning. He might have tried hard at first, but the more he gets used to it, the better he gets. Though he's a Bama grad, he doesn't show much bias, especially in regards of Auburn. He's my favorite up and coming in-game announcer. I bet he has a great career in the broadcasting booth.
