That's what it's like in September in South Louisiana without a coozie.

Exactly. I was down there last September with a group of guys helping with flood cleanup. Thought I was used to the heat and humidity living in Alabama. I was worn out after two straight days of doing demo work and hanging drywall in houses with no working A/C. But the beers at Sammy's were nice and cold.

Thanks for coming to help out. Gutting out soggy/moldy houses in Aug/Sept in South Louisiana was not a fun time. There were tons of good people like you that came down and helped out. It was really a good thing to see, especially after all the riots and shootings last summer. It really put things back into perspective, and reminded us that it doesn't matter what race you are, we're all affected the same, and we all need to help our neighbors when they need it. It was like God washed away the hate and put us back in our places, to remind us that we are not the ones in control.
