In actuality, my opinion is based on years of interacting with university administrators. It is readily apparent that the highest ranking among them are "champagne socialists." But anyone who doesn't share your opinions is, of course, ignorant white trash. Surely people cannot come to conclusions different from your own while simultaneously being educated and from a respectable social class. No elitism there at all.

And the Left wonders why it performs so poorly with its former blue collar base. Might it have something to do with the fact that it openly hates them and has derided them at every turn for years?
