Nutt's attorney intially asked for 6 days of phone records. He has since asked for all the calls dating back to 2012.

Out of the loop a bit, but why only 6 days initially? Was a supposed conversation had taken place or what?

Wasn't it the six days that were around the timeframe of when Freeze basically blamed Nutt for the NCAA sanctions?

Initially the request was to identify calls Freeze made to reporters who had stories citing "sources" that said most of the violations were under Nutt's time at Ole Miss. Seems the attorney had reason to believe those reporters had spoken to Hugh in advance of their stories, so he just needed phone records to back that up.

The hooker call was literally just stumbled upon while he was looking for something else, but it will ultimately be what helps Nutt get paid. It shows Freeze was underhanded and had a pattern of lying and self-preservation at all costs. OM saving some money by not having to pay Hugh will be all the more easy to pay Nutt.

Nutt is paying his lawyers to ask these questions. These people are pros at this kind of investigation. If there is any dirt to be found they will find it.
