I'm not certain on that. I just know the big problem with Cut was his inability to recruit at a SEC level, and his unwillingness to let go of staff who sucked at recruiting. If I'm not mistaken Coach O was the national recruiter of the year the year he was hired at OM.

Pete Boone fired David Cutcliffe because he (Pete) hated Cutcliffe's guts. He just needed Cutcliffe to have one bad season in the post Eli era to give him an excuse.
All of that chatter you posted above about recruiting once again shows you simply don't know what you're talking about. Final answer.
