They lost there starting QB to graduation, 2nd string QB transferred to UF, they went 4-8 last year, they have a new OC and DC, yet they are still projected to be good? I don't see the love.

As long as Brian Kelly is there, they'll never be good. That 2012 team had to be the worst team to ever appear in a National Championship game.

Because theyre notre dame and the media loves them. They are a cash cow for the ncaa and prob have the most fans/money following their program. They're in a big market, being near chicago, and their fans are nation wide. It's bullshite I know bc they're always overrated and get the benfit of the doubt in any toss up situation , but it's the truth. It's because they're notre dame.

It is the same thing ever year. They are always over rated and get benefit of the doubt for bowls. Half the SEC teams woulda won against them in the 2012 champion game.

I can't figure it out. They've been awful for the last 10-11 years with the exception of 2012.

Who's high on them? You guys should easily win that game. They'll suck again this year. I'd start to seriously worry about Smart if you lose that gsme.

Notre Dame is now on the level of Kansas State, NC State, and Arizona. Anyone who tells you otherwise is kidding themselves

Georgia will destroy Notre Dame. ND can't handle the SEC.

Their oline is the best we'll see all year with two possible first rounders.

Like who?I've yet to see them in any pre season top 25
polls.

Who cares if some pundits are picking them to beat UGA?
It's not like we don't have questions in '17.

It's a big game on the road early in the season.Lots of things can happen

Everyone is high on Notre Dame? News to me. Didn't Greg McElroy say that we should win by 20? I agree with him.

Happens every single year, but I don't know that I have seen much giving them too much love. Only thing I have heard is UGA should win handily (which I think they will), but ND is tough to play at and it will be very loud and crowd will be into it.

Probably going to be the toughest environment on the road so far for Eason. However, if Eason can have a good game in that environment it'll probably be a boon for the rest of season for UGA. It'll be a really good barometer for where UGA is. I am looking forward to watching the game. I hate ND.

Also, I'd caution the record last year. GT won only 3 in 2015 and won 9 last year. ND certainly has the talent to make that kind of a turn around happen. GT lost so many games in 2015 because we lost like all our running backs and a couple of Olinement in fall camp that crippled us for the rest of the year. Not sure if ND was in a similar situation or not last year to explain the drop.

I expect Georgia to win. If Eason has progressed and the oline has improved it might be a blowout.

Everyone? The only ones that count are the ones that are talking with their money out there in Las Vegas. Let's wait and see what they're saying.

They return basically their whole offense minus QB, and they return a lot on defense too. They hired all new coordinators, so IDK if that helps or hurts.

I don't think they were as bad as their 4-8 record last year. This is a like a pretty standard mediocre 7 or 8 win team. If UGA isn't careful they could get upset, that's about it.
