I don't think people would really care about the comment if Arkansas fans hadn't used it so much after he was hired.

No, it was at some touchdown club in Little Rock or something. Pretty small thing just for the Hog fans. I think he said that some time in 2013, and the tone of it was playful. Reading it in the quote with his picture, it's easy to think he was being boastful, but it would take a moron or Urban Meyer to say something like that and truly imply they thought Nick Saban was inferior.
