Some of you people have no clue what the term "watershed" means. Here's a clue: it's basically a turning point. Where's the turning point from this game? Alabama came right back from this game and is the only team to have been in all three CFPs since then, winning it all in 2015 and coming within one play last year.

Then why was the SEC right back on top in 2015? And why is Alabama the 2017 preseason #1 according to most media sources?
Some of you people think that in order for a dynasty to exist, the dynastic team has to win it all every single year.

SEC didn't win the title in 2013, 2014, and 2016 whereas the conference had a 7 year national title winning streak preceding those games, I'd say that constitutes a pretty damn big turning point to justify the "watershed" classification, learn reading comprehension bro.
