Both legendary backs. Hard to say which was better. If you could have either one completely healthy at their prime, which would you choose? Flip a coin.

Nobody will want to hear it, but Henry his Junior year in 2015 was on that level. His numbers were better, and he willed that team to a NC as a workhorse that nobody could stop even when they knew he was coming. He gets lost in the shuffle of all the great Saban players--but that season was the SEC's best, historically for a reason.

Can't compare modern day stats vs the run dominant era of the 80's.

8 in the box back in those days was base defense.

Two greats we are discussing here, earth will end before the debate will.

Earl, Bo, Herschel, Jim Brown and the one we never really got to appreciate in Marcus Dupree are the power speed guys that blow my mind.

The idea that these guys were bigger than everyone off the line of scrimmage back in those days ads to the legend.

Another we missed getting to see was MLB OF Dave Henderson. Took top draft bonus $ once he heard Freeman McNeil was headed to UCLA, but he was cut of the sale rare cloth as these genetic freaks.

Earl thighs and Bo torso. Saw him vertically leap a shopping cart sideways once.. flat footed.

Bo and Herschel will always get extra credit among their very small peer group.from that golden 70's-80's era. The track, baseball and MMA heroics take the legend to another level.

To imagine these alpha beasts were considered inferior in their early ages.
