Herschel was a system running back who racked up yards on volume carries. Guys like Bo Jackson competed with guys like Brent Fullwood drafted top 5 RD1 for carries and still got his yards

WTF are you talking about?It was even hard for HW running out of the I formation for 3 years.EVERYONE on the opposing defenses knew he was getting the ball
and VD was a painfully unimaginative coach.
System???Take a look at UGA's running game in '83 (the year after he left)If there was a system in place it sure as HeLL didn'the work very well.
