I love how A&M fans hang their hat on this stat. I guess if it's the only thing my school has ever accomplished I'd brag about it to. Actually, I'm not a douche so no I wouldn't

Since joining the SEC, A&M has won more conference championships across all sports than all but 2 schools.
The OP, while misguided, is countering the whole "t.u. is the top revenue earner in college athletics and therefore the most desirable program for any conference and the SEC will bend over backward to accommodate them"
