I think it was a serious question
I've mentioned it many times. UF as well as most Florida schools and professional teams do not have the national fan base support in most sports, not juse baseball. We do not travel well. We're very regional. Most of our success has been 1980's on so we don't have the grandma and great grandpa alumni. It takes decades of success to build great fan base support like UK bastball or Steelers football.

Throw in the fact that a lot of people from Florida are from somewhere else and the people who are the most successful usually leaves the state to have success. The state of Florida also has a lot of people at or below the poverty line.

One knock I've had on the administration is that they have not done enough to create a national fanbase. They should be taking advantage of past success to spread the program. Maybe 1 day soon

Also realize that it is not easy traveling in and out of Gville. A plane ticket will always cost you an arm and a leg, unless you drive several hours to Orlando. And it is a pretty long drive from Gville to anywhere. The stretch along I10 through Tallacrappy to Mobile takes hours and is God awful. That's a tough haul.
