You are saying that Jones is paying Coach Fulmer

No, the exact opposite

I think the admin would rather Fulmer direct his critisms at the coach who they can eventually fire instead of themselves who of course don't want to lose their jobs

I don't think they are happy with criticism either way but they certainly prefer the former

Also I don't think anything Fulmer has said has been that close to critical of Jones, all he did was state the realities of the job and what the fans demand

What forum would CPF use to show disapproval of the administration that they would care about? Seems to me that the administration has put CPF in a cat bird seat of a sort. If he throws up his hands and says, "I give up on this hopeless crew of duds," he now has a bully pulpit to do that -- one that they put him in.

If Currie was the brains behind signing CPF on as a special advisor I don't see his upside unless it was a genuine attempt to show that he, Currie really wants improvement in all aspects of football operations at least. -Somebody- said "let's skip the Big Orange Caravan this year." That turned out to be a bad idea -- which CPF could have told them was a bad idea. Maybe Currie wants some good ideas.
