Fact is, over the past three years, LSU and UT have very similar programs

At this moment, Tennessee beat App State (at Neyland) and Virginia Tech by the skin of its teeth with its best team since Fat Phil. LSU won the same amount of games without being able to employ use of the downfield pass. LSU also recruits at a higher level and doesn't waste thousands of booster dollars on buying pussies like Drew Richmond, a spectacularly wasted investment by the Memphis Vols to outbid Ole Miss. frick LSU, but Tennessee is much better at being laughably mediocre. The delusions of grandeur on both sides is fairly comparable though, and neither can beat Bama, so there are some similarities
