Taking 4 schollys away from a basketball team is pretty severe when you're trying to compete with the bluebloods of the sport. By year 4, UL will be playing with only 9 scholarship players compared to others 13 on their rosters. It basically makes you hit on every recruit you sign and have no busts, which isnt going to happen. Then you have to hope they all stay eligible and don't get injured, beyond that, who are you going to have as backups when those guys get tired? Some true freshman or some walkon? It's not good lol. Not to mention being put on probation for 4 years is a big deal. Because you have to honestly recruit like other teams do now and not give extra benefits to players to recruit like you had been doing. Don't worry, ole miss will find out soon enough what scholly reductions and probation does to your program. Not to mention that ole miss is nowhere near the program in football that louisville is in basketball. Yall will be at the bottom of the west for a decade, not that you wouldn't be there anyway, but you get my point. It's going to be exponentially more difficult for ole miss to dig itself out of this hole than it will be for louisville basketball. You frickers my not even win the party anymore, its going to be the bad.
