Ole Miss fans will be telling all of us how they didn't get hammered. But really it was quite good because of their incredible defense.

Most of the league will shrug its shoulders and say 'typical NCAA BS' if Ole Miss avoids the hammer. And they'll feel better about their next look-in from the NCAA, and what it is likely to mean, if they won't blast an Ole Miss for self-admitted violations.

However, should they level Ole Miss, the schadenfreude factor will be so very high, as Mississippi burns like WT Sherman had a reunion tour through Oxford.

If Ole Miss beats Bama or LSU this year this board will melt gloriously.

Problem for OM is that the damage is done.....they will lose something...bowls, schollies, probation, etc

Losing just a very few top players will kill a team that has struggled for relevance in a tough conference. And knowing they aren't totally clean, enough will happen for them to miss out on a few great players......
It is what it is, an OM fans thinking differently is a case of denial.
