Landofthieves, in their conference realignment thread, keeps mentioning a scenario where we take Texas Tech with Texas and OSU with OU. Not sure what makes them think we would take the dead weight of TT and OSU just to get to Texas and OU? I can MAYBE see OSU with OU, but Texas Tech? NO!

at TT

I get the idea that adding a "small market" school is not desirable, but let's not act like the OSU athletic department is "dead weight"

Both Oklahoma schools have great athletic department profiles. Oklahoma is just a really small state

The SEC does not need UT or OU.

If either OU or UT leave the B12 for the B1G/PAC/ACC they will take in less TV revenue.

They would both lose their tier 3 revenue and have to take a partial share for the first couple of years.

As much as I would like a super 64 (16 x 4)... it's not happening. The PAC was too stupid to add the Texoma 4 a few years ago. Now they make less than OU/UT.
