I'm saying you're retarded if you think he's paying anything -- even if it's unofficial. He's getting a frick ton of benefits to go watch a free game really close to home that his family (who is very invested in his, ah, recruiting) can enjoy.

Him living closer to one of the two schools and going to enjoy free things (he's not paying anything, I can guarantee 100% there are some other parties paying for his trips) and being close enough to home to get back makes a big difference.

He is playing the field, literally, and knows exactly what he's doing.
