Leo Lewis $10,000 story is jacked up

The big inconsistencies that Ole Miss relies on to refute the entire premise that he was paid are this:

1-Who reached out to whom. Once he says the booster called him, once he says he called the booster.

2-How the money was delivered. A wad of bills or a bag of money.

3-Whether he never had contact with the booster afterward or received a text a couple of hours after.

These seem pretty minor details in the context of the overall story. He's been consistent with the major allegation, that he met with the booster the day before signing day and received the cash. The minor discrepancies wouldn't cause me to reject the entire allegation if I were the trier of fact.

In the NOA, it reads that the egregious part of the violation was that an Associate AD introduced the boosters to the Student Athlete. Ole Miss didn't deny that.

So what if they catch Student Athlete #39 in an inconsistency? They already admitted to the Level I violation

The NCAA will hammer them because their Asst Athletic Director orchestrated Booster #12, #13, & #14 to Student-Athlete #39.

Can't have staffers making the introductions between multiple Boosters and recruits. That's a Level 1 violation.
