Yeah. That's the joke. You see as many LSU shirts in the Pine Belt as you do USM ones.
Legend has it that there are only ten true Southern Miss fans at any time. When one dies, the ghost of Nugget lays an egg and another one hatches.
Who is Nugget? The live mascot that they killed over Christmas break. No one was assigned to feed the thing and when they came back, it was dead.
