I mean, for fricks sake you get a free meal at Applebee's once a year in November, quit trying to make Memorial Day about all veterans.

Just stop shitty veterans, stop.

Bruh. Just check out the "not trying to be offensive" thread.

You won't be disappointed

Yes. If Spur could get his way though, today should really be "Thank whoever you want because what's the point? " day.

I really hate the way veterans act entitled nowadays. I don't even go for the free meals on Veteran's day.

There's a difference between an honor and an entitlement.

It's an honor to serve.

It's an entitlement to expect special treatment for it.

Veteran of family was offered a free meal at O'Charley's on Memorial Day. He bought his meal and brought me the free meal. It was okay.

I would have to agree here. I think its the new generation vets though. I cross trained about mid way through my career and had to go back to classes with some of the younger generation and they were a damn shame. Completely entitled group. I believe those are the ones giving veterans a bad name.

We serve because we love our country and our people, not because we expect to reap the rewards of program afforded to veterans.

I can't tell you how many times I heard the words, " I didn't come in to fight or bust my arse! I just needed money for college! "
